Have A Cup of Positivitea

Good Morning Friends, I hope you are feeling good. I wanted to drop a little dose of Positivitea this morning especially if you are feeling anxious, stressed or uneasy during this difficult time in our lives.

It's ok to feel afraid or unsure. Life is filled with both love and fear. Our brains are trying to figure things out. I have seen and felt lots of love, people coming together to help each other. You may be worried about your finances, lost your job, your retirement has tanked, your business is closed or staying healthy is on your mind. You are saddened due to separation or isolation. One thing I do know you are strong. You will get through this and God will carry you when you are weary.

We have all been through difficulties in our life, this too shall pass. Things will come back, they may come back in a different way. It is hard to see the blessings of a struggle when you are in the middle of it. But I believe we can take our gifts and talents and a little creativity and be stronger. Gratitude is a huge part of this. We can develop gratitude and appreciation for a new way of living and working.

I am finding a Way Forward, feeling my feelings, feel the sadness, the pain, talk about it to process it and get those feelings out. We are all in this together. Just don't stay stuck there. Today take some action instead of staying stuck. Exercise, drink water, get in touch with nature, call a friend, FaceTime with family, eat a healthy meal, look for ways to find connection. You can find things to be grateful for, just pause and look around. Start by practicing gratitude. If this is difficult start with just the simple gesture of placing your hand on your heart and say I am grateful for the heart beating in my chest and the breath in and out of my lungs.

Control what you can control then surrender the rest in gratitude. You can control the mindset you choose everyday, you can control which version of you, you are bringing to your family, coworkers or team. You can control what you consume, it will impact how you feel. Limit the news, put in some positive. Fill yourself with things that make you feel good instead of things that make you feel out of control.

God holds the past, the present, and future. May you feel his presence in your life, joy in your day, peace in your night, and hope for tomorrow. 😘
